COUNTY NOVICE CHAMPIONS 2015!!
Congratulations to Robert Kelly, Patrick O’Connor, Sean Callaghan & Mario Morell who came 1st in this years County Novices League & 3rd in the overall tournament!
This is the first time Gorey Community School has entered a team in any chess tournament so we are delighted to be bringing home the trophies!!
Well done to Robert who also won a medal for 2nd individual novices & a special mention for Edmunds Prudskojs & Oisin Dale who entered as individuals.
A great day of chess & craic was had by all!
